(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Wednesday January 04, 2012 shortly after the noon hour Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a reported stolen pickup truck from a rural residence along Perth Road 130 north of St.Marys.
Investigation revealed that the owner of the grey coloured 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck had parked the vehicle in his farm driveway near the rear door of his house. The vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the centre console. Sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday January 4th an unknown culprit accessed the victim’s property by crossing a farm field in a south direction from a side road. The truck was entered, started and driven away in an unknown direction on Perth Road 130.
Anyone having knowledge of the truck whereabouts or information about the person responsible is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
