World Rhetoric Soars – Russia Defends $700 Million Sale Of Weapons to Syria – Russia & China Veto Syrian Resolution

Al Assad still refuses to bow the will of the mass majority, and has
no intention of stepping down.  The death toll in Syria climbs
by 40-200/day.  Syrian hospitals are pleading for blood and
medical supplies.  The Syrian crisis has been decades in the
making, spurred on by a non responsive and non transparent
government. 

All governments must realize that the status quo is no longer
acceptable.  They can no longer stall and ignore the mass
majority.  Instant global communication will make all
governments accountable in the coming years, as over 200,000,000
people a year are now logging on to the internet for the first
time.  By 2015 over half of the humans on earth will be
connected to the internet.  This is a force that no government
will be able to defeat or ignore.  Times have changed, and the
people want their governments to be as responsive and quick to act
as the movements that scrutinize them.  WFP hopes that North
Huron council will realize that we are in a new era, one where the
internet will not forget their actions.  An era where those
that govern us must be honorable, and serve as Representatives and
be empathic to those they serve, and no longer merely offer lip
service” void of action.
