On Tuesday March 17, 2015 a worker at an automotive shop located on Erb St W in the city of Waterloo was injured while working on a vehicle. The injury occurred when part of the lift the employee was working on fell and landed on his leg. The employee was transported to Grand River Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries. The Ministry of Labour was notified of the incident and has taken over the investigation.
