On August 31, 2015 at approximately 10:48 A.M., Waterloo Regional Police and Emergency Medical Response responded to Country Club Estates in Woolwich Township for a workplace incident. A 27 year old general labourer fell from a ladder while trying to access the roof area of a construction site. Investigation determined that the worker fell approximately 30 feet, sustaining non life threatening injuries. The worker was transported to Grand River Hospital. The Ministry of Labour was contacted and is investigating the matter.
