On May 2nd, 2015 at approx. 3am Waterloo Regional Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the city of Waterloo. An edged weapon was produced by the subject who then harmed herself and threatened responding officers. A conducted energy weapon was effectively deployed by officers and the female was apprehended under the Mental Health Act. The female also faces multiple criminal charges. No significant injuries were sustained by anyone during the incident.
