The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman following a shoplifting incident last night in Chatham.
Around 6:00 p.m. police responded to Walmart on St. Clair Street in regards to a theft complaint. An employee observed the woman steal approximately $80 worth of groceries.
Cheryl Soloman, 46 years, of Orchard Place in Chatham has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She was released pending a future court date.
