Shortly after 7:00 p.m. last night, police received information regarding a possible impaired driver in Chatham. An officer located the woman sitting in her motor vehicle in a residential driveway. The keys were in the ignition and the vehicle’s engine was running. Through investigation, the officer believed that the woman was in care and control of her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.
Jean Wodzinski, 60 years, of Park Lane in Chatham has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. She was released with conditions pending a future court date.
