The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Last night, officers responded to a disturbance on Erieau Road. Upon police arrival, officers learned that there was a breach of probation warrant in effect for a woman at the residence. The warrant was issued when she was a young offender.
The 18-year-old Harwich Township woman was taken into custody and released with conditions pending a future court date.
Youth Charged with Failing to Comply
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a male youth for breaching his release conditions.
On November 18, 2014, the youth was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to obey a daily curfew of 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
On November 24, 2014 around 10:00 p.m. police received information that the youth was not home.
Yesterday morning, the youth attended police headquarters and turned himself in. The 12-year-old Chatham youth was arrested for failing to comply. He was released to a parent pending a future court date.
