Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 at 10:38 a.m., the Waterloo Regional Police Service was notified about a female in the area of Victoria Park, in the City of Kitchener, carrying a firearm. Information was that she had pointed it at a citizen, and continued walking with it. Waterloo Regional Police responded, the 24 year old Kitchener female was quickly located, carrying an imitation firearm. She was arrested, and will be charged with having a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and using a firearm in the commission of a criminal offence. There is currently no threat to public safety.
