Just after midnight on December 15, 2016 a woman was in her home on Flannery Drive and called police about a man known to her who showed up uninvited. This man had been previously told he was not welcome there.
When police arrived it was learned that the man was in fact homeless and police gave him a ride to a local shelter.
Unfortunately the woman was wanted for outstanding charges in Waterloo Region, was arrested and given over to the Waterloo Regional Police to deal with those charges.
