Monday (26Feb2018) at 7:00pm ALL members of the Public are invited to witness history at Wingham Town Hall. It is expected that the Wingham Police will be defecting from the Old Boys Club to the side of the People by announcing they in favor of disbanding and switching to the OPP.
Wingham Police have wanted to disband for 17 years. This fact was kept from the Public and has cost us millions by overpaying for policing. Those millions could have paid to maintain our dam, fix our roads, put fire suppression systems in, cleared our sidewalks, etc.
Someone should be held accountable for forcing the Wingham Police on Winghamites and financially crippling our Community. Those responsible have been narrowed down to several police service board members, a few councillors and a staff member. It would be nice if they suffered the same financial ruin they forced on Wingham.
