(TORONTO) June 9, 2015 – Perth-Huron Insurance Brokers Association will receive a Fire
Safety Award from the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council at a ceremony on June 16, 2015
in Toronto. The annual Fire Safety Awards recognize outstanding contributions to fire protection
and prevention in Ontario.
Over the past couple of years, the Perth East and West Perth fire departments have partnered with
the Perth-Huron Insurance Brokers Association to develop new resources to raise awareness about
carbon monoxide. The Perth-Huron Insurance Brokers Association provided funding for
development of a public service announcement (PSA) entitled “The Wake Up Call” that is available
