Tuesday January 10, at 1150, Wingham Police were requested to watch for a vehicle that had been stolen from Clinton area. The vehicle was spotted by a Wingham Police Officer in a Josephine St business parking lot.
The female driver fled on foot and the OPP K-9 unit attended to conduct a track however the female was apprehended by the Wingham Police and an OPP ERT member prior to the K-9 unit starting their search. The female suspect was handed over to the OPP. Any further information is to be released by the OPP since the incident initiated in their area.
