Windshield Smashed With Golf Club During Domestic Dispute

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On November 7, 2015 at approximately 4:51 a.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a domestic altercation in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

The complainant reported the female had departed the residence in his pick-up truck during a verbal altercation. When she returned, the verbal altercation ensued resulting in the female damaging his vehicle by smashing out the windshield with a golf club. The female departed the residence on foot before police arrived.

Police located the 24-year-old female and arrested her on charges of domestic mischief under $5000 of the Criminal Code of Canada and driving while under suspension contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. She was released on a Promise to Appear with undertaking and scheduled to appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice to address the charges.
