(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Perth County OPP officers in Listowel were called to a residence on Salisbury Ave. South where the resident reported damage to his vehicle.
The resident advised that three of the side windows on his newer model Honda were smashed out while it was parked beside the residence from Saturday evening November 12, 2011 to Sunday morning November 13, 2011. A GPS unit which had been attached to the front windshield had been removed. It is described as a 3â€Âx3†Nextag GPS with a sun hood attached.
A second Listowel resident contacted police on Sunday Morning November 13, 2011 advising that her vehicle which was parked beside a residence on Havelock Ave. South in Listowel had its rear window smashed. Nothing was stolen from the interior of this vehicle. Police investigation revealed that around midnight 3 males had been observed running on Elma St. towards the walking trail.
Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity on Salisbury Ave South near the walking trail on Saturday night or who has information about these senseless crimes is requested to contact The Perth County OPP.
