(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On July 21, 2015 at approximately 10:31 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)) was conducting radar speed enforcement and monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 109 near Concession 14, Town of Minto. A male driving a 2007 Dodge was observed travelling well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 141 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Wilhelmus KLESSENS age 62 of Huron East has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on August 19, 2015 to answer the charge.
