(PERTH COUNTY, ON) Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have been responding to a large number of multi vehicle collisions during the storm that passed through the area today. Officers were able to attend to most collisions at the collision locations however some could not be immediately attended to.
Motorists involved in such a collision, are reminded that if it is a “reportable collisionâ€Â, (where there was personal injury, damage to property apparently exceeding $1,000, or those where there was damage to highway or other property), they have to report this to the police. If there is minor damage, it can still be reported.
If the collision occurred within Perth County, motorists can attend at any of the OPP Detachments in the County to file a report.
The Perth County OPP is continuing to respond to multiple vehicle collisions at this time, they are requesting the public to refrain from travelling. If you need to travel, check ahead for road advisory information and monitor local media for the latest updates and alternate routes. Allow extra time for travel.
