WFP Upgrades Emergency Alert System – Sign Up For Weather Alerts etc.

WFP has been upgrading our Emergency Alert System to allow for email
and text notifications.  This will allow people to receive
alerts to their cell phone or email accounts.  The main goal of
this system is to reduce the time it takes to notify the public to
several minutes.  Huron County does have the PRISM system for
notifications, but it would take them almost an entire day for them
to notify their subscribers, and wasn’t built to handle mass
emergency broadcasts.  

You can now sign up for Email/Text Alerts below.  When you
receive your PIN, you will be able to log in and subscribe to
various alerts.  If you are willing to help with our Beta
