WFP has started using Google Ads, and will use all revenue generated
to fight North Huron town hall. The majority of our efforts
will be in the months leading up to the 2014 election, when we plan
on doing regular flyer dumps to encourage the public to vote, and to
inform them of all the issues this current council has failed to
address. WFP will promote any candidate that supports the
changes Wingham needs for a safer community, lower taxes and an
accountable Town Council. WFP will also donate the equivalent
of the nomination fee to the Candidate’s campaign (max 6), for
Candidates that support the changes Wingham desperately needs.
If Council does not make significant progress in the next year and a
half, the pre 2014 election flyer dumps will highlight the abuses
and disrespect council has heaped upon the public during their
reign.
2014 Council’s To Do List
(because current council has refused to act on virtually
every issue below, and we are tired of asking)
Clear blocked sidewalks in winter, water bill, horse manure on
streets, switch to the free service of the Ombudsman, missing one
way signs, Code of Conduct, recording of Council meetings, 20-25%
North Huron staff reduction, NH staff job descriptions, recording of
closed sessions, Council remuneration online, Get Fair rent for
Columbus Hall, Cooperation with Morris-Turnberry, Time Sheets for
all NH staff, reduce grass cutting in parks to a max of once per
week, regular press releases from Town Hall and Wingham Police, Do
Not Solicit By-law, competitive tax rate, start getting tax revenue
from properties we service in M-T, find the bridge fund and work on
re-opening the bridge, 4 foot weeds in our sidewalks, pot holes,
discuss removal of the Ward System, fence height by-law and a
serious review of current management team to determine if they
should remain employed by North Huron.
