Wingham can’t start to recover until our taxes are brought under control.
The high cost of Wingham policing is something that must be addressed to bring our taxes under control.
The first step to bring our policing costs under control is for the Town to hold a Public meeting and honestly compare the Wingham Police and the OPP, including household cost, equipment, response times.
The Old Boys Club will offer great resistance to such a meeting, as the Wingham Police can’t possibly defend their extremely high cost and slow response times.
The Reward Terms:
WFP will give a $100 cash to the person that asks for, and gets, North Huron council to hold a Public meeting within the next 2 months comparing Wingham Police and the OPP. This must be done at the next council meeting (24Aug2015). Senior North Huron management are not eligible.
Many of you may think this is a very easy way to make a quick $100 cash. Don’t fool yourself, they likely will resist ANY talk about policing at the council meeting.
The Winner can choose between a $100 Canadian bank note, or a $100 Canadian silver coin. We are offering the silver coin just in case the Winner wants a memento from the night they helped save Wingham. Winner will be paid before leaving Town Hall.
