Special weather statement in effect for:
Goderich – Bluewater – Southern Huron County
Listowel – Milverton – Northern Perth County
Stratford – Mitchell – Southern Perth County
Wingham – Blyth – Northern Huron County
Wet weather ahead for Southern Ontario.
A complex low pressure system is forecast to approach the Great Lakes from the southwest later today. The low will be slow moving, taking a couple of days to cross Southern Ontario.
Rain from the low is expected to affect Southwestern Ontario primarily later today and tonight while in the remaining regions, including the Golden Horseshoe and Central Ontario, the bulk of the rain will be Tuesday.
Rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm are expected in most places with some locally higher amounts possible.
