Details:
Police apprehended a 24 year-old male under the Mental Health Act at a residence in Normanby Township. Two officers received minor injuries. The male was transported to the hospital for evaluation and later medically cleared. The male now faces two (2) charges of assaulting a peace officer.

Police responded to a complaint from a Neustadt woman that she had been assaulted by her common-law husband. The male left the residence prior to the arrival of police. A search of the area failed to locate the male. A warrant will be sought for his arrest, charging the male with three (3) counts of assault.
