Sometime between 5:00pm on May 6, 2015 and 8:16am on May 7, 2015, unknown suspect(s) broke into the Durham Vet Clinic and forced open a cupboard door and removed 2 bottles of Ketamine/Alepromazine and 10 syringe needles. The suspects then entered into the main office area and removed and undisclosed amount of cash.

On March 12, 2015 a 23 year old male of no fixed address was arrested and charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm. He was released on a Promise to appear and an Officer in charge Undertaking to attend court on May 4, 2015. On May 4, 2015 the male failed to appear in court. A bench warrant was issued and an arrest warrant on a charge of Fail to attend court was issued on May 5, 2015.

On May 6, 2015 Police received an anonymous call that the accused was at the victim’s residence. Police attended and were invited into the residence where the male was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.

On May 4, 2015 a container with a quantity of loose change was found in the area of the Durham Car Wash. Investigation shows that there was no entry gained into any coin operated machines in the vicinity.
