The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time. The male could only be described as being non-white and wearing black clothing.

On July 4, 2015 in the early morning hours, Brantford Police were called to a townhouse complex on Darling St for a report of a male with a gun.
An altercation occurred in the residence, at which time the suspect left. The suspect returned to the townhouse with a firearm and was pointing it at people in the apartment, leading to the occupants to call police.
Police were not able to locate the suspect, but the firearm was recovered at the scene.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Section, with the assistance of the BPS Forensics Identification Unit, are continuing their investigation. A canvass of residents in the area has been completed.
