On Wednesday November 2, 2016 at 3:27 P.M., members of the London Police Service executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at an address on Simcoe Street in the City of London after receiving information that a firearm may be inside. Two male parties inside of the address were detained. A search of the unit was negative for the firearm.
At 4: 22 P.M., members of the London Police Service continued the investigation and arrested a male in relation to the above address in the area of the Richmond Street and King Street.
The male was searched and the following was located on his person;
An unloaded .22 calibre revolver firearm with 4 x .22 rounds of ammunition concealed down his pants, a throwing knife, a small quantity of currency and a quantity of drugs including hydromorph, oxycocet, morphine and methamphetamine.
Sean WARD, 28 years of London is charged with twelve Criminal Code Charges in total, including charges relating to the firearm, breaching a recognizance and possession for the purpose of trafficking in the above drugs seized.
