On January 2, 2017 at 2:25 a.m., members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Drugs and Firearm Branch with the assistance of the Emergency Response Unit executed a Criminal Code search at 32-60 Paulander Drive in Kitchener. As a result of the search warrant police located a sawed off shotgun with ammunition, a conducted energy weapon, brass knuckles, several knives as well as drugs and stolen property. Two Kitchener males aged 29 and 31, and a Kitchener female aged 24 were arrested and face numerous charges under the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Two young children were also located in the residence and turned over to the care of Family and Children Services.
