During the early morning hours of Monday the 29th of July 2013, a vehicle was stolen in Central Barrie. Investigation by the Barrie Police Property Crimes Unit identified two local males in their 30’s were responsible for the theft and a further theft of tools from a maintenance company in broad daylight.
The tools were then sold to a local second hand store where they were recovered by the investigating officers. The accused men will be charged with theft over $5,000.00, possession under $5,000.00 and failure to comply with probation orders. At present their whereabouts are unknown and warrants are being obtained for their arrest.
