(LUCKNOW, ON) – On January 2, 2015, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Campbell Street in Lucknow recognized a male that was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. The man fought with police and managed to drive off in a White Oldsmobile. The vehicle was located and stopped in Perth County where the man was arrested without incident.
Thirty-two year old Blair WILSON of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with dangerous driving, drive while disqualified, assault peace officer, personation and 2 counts of breach probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for January 2, 2015. There were no injuries to the police or the accused reported in this incident.
