(Huron East, ON) In another traffic stop on May 2, 2010 at approximately 12:30 am officers found a female driver on Huron Road who displayed signs of being impaired by alcohol. The driver was arrested for Impaired Driving and was taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where she met with a qualified Intoxilizer Technician to provide two samples of her breath. The results of her tests indicated the driver has a blood alcohol level that was three times above the legal limit of 80 milligrams.
Wanda JOHNSTON (47) of Huron East is now facing one count of Impaired Driving and one count of Drive Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She will answer to these charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on June 7, 2010. Her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days as per statute. LP10112418
