Walmart Shoplifter

Barrie Police responded to the WalMart on Bayfield Street regarding a female shoplifter. The accused was observed selecting numerous items within the store including food, toiletries, electronics and placed them inside of her shopping cart. She was seen exiting the location making no attempt to pay for the selected items. Investigating officer continued the arrest and the majority of the items were returned and able to be re-sold. The total amount of stolen property was just over $440.00.

The 26 year old local woman was charged criminally with Theft Under $5000 and Possession of stolen property. She is also currently before the courts for Fraud Under and Utter Forged Documents. She was held in custody pending her bail hearing on January 3rd, 2014.
