Robbery – Two Suspects Arrested

On Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., a 19-year-old Guelph male was walking in the area of Suffolk Street and Norfolk Street, Guelph when two individuals who were familiar to him approached him. A female suspect grabbed the chain that holds his wallet to his pants and ripped the wallet off the chain. A struggle ensued, and the suspects ran off. The victim took chase but was unable to catch the suspects nor retrieve his wallet.

The victim did not receive any injuries.

The police were called, and the two suspects were arrested a short time later.

A 17-year-old Guelph male was charged with Robbery and held for a Bail Hearing.

A 19-year-old Guelph female was charged with Robbery and three counts of Breach Probation. She was held for a Bail Hearing.
