Walkerton Stranger Danger!!

(WALKERTON, ON) – The South Bruce OPP are warning the public, especially parents, of a suspicious male reported in the Walkerton area on September 1, 2009. The male approached 3 teenage girls and asked them to go back to his place to drink alcohol. The suspicious male is described as:

# White, male, mid to late 40’s
# Brown jacket, beige/camoflage pants
# White dress shirt, half unbuttoned
# 5’8”, chubby build – approx 190 lbs
# Brown baseball cap, dark around the eyes

Parents are reminded to know where their children are and review the stranger danger safety tips with them.

# Walk with a friend
# Travel in well lit areas
# Don’t talk to strangers
# If a stranger approaches you, walk quickly or run away and get help
