Walkerton Break-In Leads To Assault & Resist Charges

(WALKERTON, ON) – On July 25, 2015 at 4:50a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a disturbance call from an apartment complex located along Colborne Street in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that a female had broken into one of the apartments which lead to the disturbance. The suspect was found on the property and she refused to cooperate with the responding officers. A 27-year-old Brockton woman has been charged with 2 counts of assault, unlawfully in a dwelling and resist peace officer. She was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing.
