Southwest Huron Trustee Randy Wagler was elected Chair of the New Board of Trustees at the Inaugural Meeting on Monday, December 1, 2014. In his inaugural address Chair Wagler spoke of his great pride in the accomplishments of Avon Maitland District School Board, in how it has become a leader of school Boards in Ontario in its student success, in how it has embraced technology in the classroom and in its focus on inclusivity. In this video from the first meeting of the newly elected Board, Trustees made their official declaration and Wagler spoke of how well the Board has been guided by its Mission Statement and Strategic Plan.
