Visual Dispatch Deliveries Scam

(SOUTH BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – On August 12th, 2011 at 3:05 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of an attempted scam from a resident of the Municipality of Kincardine. An email was received from Visual Dispatch Deliveries, to inform the recipient they have won a new car and a cash prize that is ready for shipping via FedEx. In order to secure the prize and assure delivery, a sum of almost $800 was requested in a transfer through Western Union. The South Bruce OPP is asking area residents to be careful with unsolicited emails. How do you win a contest that you didn’t enter in the first place? If it seems too good to be true
