On Saturday, December 30, 2017, Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a disturbance and home invasion at an apartment complex on Paulander Drive in Kitchener. Two residents received minor injuries as a result. On December 31, 2017, a 19-year-old Kitchener man was arrested and charged with Robbery, Assault with a Weapon, Weapons Dangerous and Utter Threats.
