(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Tuesday August 13, 2013 around 3:30 p.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program at the intersection of Perth Road 135 and Line 34 in Rostock.
A GMC pickup truck was stopped and while the driver was being spoken to the officer detected the odour of fresh marihuana, and observed marihuana inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and searched resulting in additional marihuana being located.
Vincent PRIESTAP (48) of the Municipality of North Perth is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 23, 2013 to answer to the charge of “possession schedule II cannabis marihuana – under 30 gramsâ€Â
