The Owen Sound Police Service would like to advise the public of legitimate canvassers and campaigners working in the area. There has been concern over persons doing residential break and enters and we would like residents to remain vigilant of the legitimacy of canvassers. Legitimate canvassers have recently been confronted by members of the public as being suspects in the break ins. Police would like to remind residents that canvassers / campaigners will have identification and will communicate their intentions when they call on people’s homes.
