The Owen Sound Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public with identifying two males responsible for an assault in the downtown core shortly before 2 am this morning. The victim had been befriended by the two male suspects while playing pool at the Coach Inn. The trio left the Coach Inn to relocate to another bar. While on route, the victim was knocked to the ground and kicked in the face by the suspects. The assault occurred in the parking lot behind the Roxy Theatre. The 32 year old victim was transported to hospital for medical treatment of facial injuries sustained during the assault. Anyone who has information which may assist with identifying the two male suspects involved in this incident is asked to contact Owen Sound Police Service or Crime Stoppers of Grey Bruce.
