Over the last couple days the Guelph Police have received multiple reports of motor vehicles stolen from businesses in the Guelph area. In these incidents the vehicles have been recovered with significant damage caused to them. The investigations into these incidents is ongoing.
On May 12, 2015 at 6:10 a.m., the Guelph Police were called to Norm Jerry Park on Shelldale Crescent to investigate an abandoned bus. Investigation has determined that the Elliot School bus had been stolen sometime overnight from a nearby Dawson Road parking lot.

Remember, vehicle thefts can occur anytime — at random on different days of the week and times of the day, depending on the locations. Never leave any keys in the car or ignition, inside a locked garage, or in hide-a-key boxes; always roll up your windows and lock the car, even if it is parked in front of your home or business.
