On January 8, 2015 at approximately 11:00 a.m. the Guelph Police went to the area of Speedvale Avenue West and Edinburgh Road North for a collision. Investigation determined that a black Lexus SUV was westbound on Speedvale when it rear ended a white pick up truck. The SUV then left the roadway, striking a building.
The driver and passenger of the SUV wee transported to the Guelph General with minor injuries.
The driver of the SUV, a 61-year-old Guelph man, was subsequently charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
