Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are releasing video surveillance of a vehicle of interest in a fatal fail-to-remain collision in the City of Vaughan and seeking public assistance to identify the vehicle and the driver.
On Monday, August 8, 2016, at approximately 11:25 p.m., a fail-to-remain collision occurred in the area of Highway 7 and Keele Street. The victim 35-year-old Adam COLUCCI from Woodbridge was found severely injured and succumbed to his injuries. Police believe the he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at the collision scene.
Investigators are releasing video surveillance footage of a dark-coloured pick-up truck and are appealing for any information on the vehicle’s whereabouts and who the driver was. Investigators are also encouraging the driver of the vehicle that struck Mr. COLUCCI to seek legal counsel and turn yourself in.
