Vehicle Entries

(KINCARDINE, ON.) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating complaints of vehicle entries and thefts in the town of Walkerton.

The list of stolen items includes: GPS units, phone chargers, an Ipod, a DVD player, personal identification, cash, cigarettes and vehicle registration/insurance cards.

Vehicle owners are reminded of the tips listed in the “Lock it or Lose it” initiative:

o Always lock your vehicle when not attended
o If you have a garage, use it, park your vehicle inside
o Keep your vehicle registration/proof of insurance with you, not in the car
o Always park in a well lit area
o Don’t leave valuables in your unattended vehicle
