(WALKERTON, ON) On March 16, 2013 at 4:34 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an overnight vehicle entry in the 800 block of Yonge Street South in Walkerton. Vehicle was parked in the driveway when owner noticed the doors and glove box open.
The South Bruce OPP would like to take this opportunity to remind residents of the tips found in the Crime Prevention initiative Lock it or Lose it:
Always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors and pocket the key.
If you have a garage, use it. Lock the door and the vehicle as well.
Always park in a well-lit area.
Never leave valuables in plain view.
