Barrie Police responded to single vehicle accident on Collier St in the downtown core.
The driver had parked the vehicle when it suddenly accelerated into a building, striking a desk.
Police attended and found the vehicle had smashed into the front window and impacted into an office area.
There were no injuries to the driver or officer workers but the building sustained moderate damage.
Police are continuing to investigate the matter for driver error or mechanical failure.
