(ST.MARYS, ON) On Saturday January 19, 2013, shortly before 10:30 p.m., Perth County OPP officers were called to a single motor vehicle collision at James St., and Queen St. East in St.Marys.
Upon officers arrival, a Volkswagen Jetta was located at the bottom of the embankment of Queen St. East at the VIA rail station, however the driver could not be located. From the damage it was determined that the vehicle had driven north on James St. South, crossed Queen St. East and crashed through the guard rail before driving down the hill and coming to rest near the train station.
Investigation revealed that Aaron FISHER (33) of St.Marys had been operating the car. He has been charged with careless drivingâ€ÂÂ
