(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Friday afternoon September 17, 2010 Perth County OPP officers were called to attend at the Value Mart Grocery Store in Mitchell where store security had arrested a shoplifter.
A 54 year old female from Huron East had been observed concealing grocery items in her purse and pockets. She left the store without paying for the items and was subsequently arrested in the store parking-lot. Police attended and processed the female she was issued an Appearance Notice for a charge of Theft Under $5000.
The female will have to appear in Stratford Criminal Court on November 01, 2010 to answer to this charge.
