(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the recent overnight theft of valuables from a Ford Explorer. Sometime between 9:00 p.m. on March 30, 2015 and 4:00 a.m. the next morning unknown person(s) stole approximately $4,000 in property from a locked vehicle that was parked on Huron Street in the Town of Clinton.
The owner discovered those responsible had smashed a small rear window to gain entry into his truck. Once inside they stole numerous valuables that were left behind in the truck.
The stolen property consisted of:
A silver HP Pavilion Laptop.
A Garmin GPS system.
Two black “Harley Davidson” leather zip up jackets. One size medium and one size XL.
Two sets of black leather chaps that have the “Harley Davidson” emblem on the side.
Two black helmets with zip in liners and silver Harley Davidson lettering on each side.
The total value of the stolen goods and damage to the vehicle is estimated around $4,000.
