(LISTOWEL, ON) On Wednesday afternoon September 15, 2010, Perth County OPP officers in Listowel were called to the residence in Listowel where two vehicles were entered and belongings were removed.
The culprits removed GPS units and cell phone chargers from the vehicles. In addition a locked grey plastic Sentry fire safe box was removed from underneath the back seat of one of the vehicles. This case is approximately 25 cm. wide, 19 cm. deep and 15 cm. high. The case was used to store 4 glass bottles/vials of lethal drugs.
It contained two 250 ml. sized plastic bottles of Euthansol, a drug used to euthanize cows. 60 ml. has been removed from one of the bottles and was used to euthanize a full sized cow (15 ml. of this drug will be lethal to a human being).
It contained one 10 ml. sized glass vial with 9 ml. of (Ketamine) Ketaset, a very strong anesthetic drug. The 1 ml. taken from this vial was used to sedate a calf. The remaining content of this vial is lethal to a human being.
It contained one 10 ml. sized glass vial with 9 ml. of Torbogesic (Butorphanol). A very strong sedative used to sedate horses. The remainder of this vial is toxic and lethal to a human being.
HANDLING THESE DRUGS COULD RESULT IN LETHAL CONSEQUENCES.
The Perth County OPP is urging anyone who knows the whereabouts of this case and its contents to call any police agency immediately by dialing 911.
