On November 20, 2013 around 6:30 p.m., two CKPS officers were involved in a motor vehicle collision on the 401 east of Comber. Staff Sergeant Kirk Earley was transported to hospital, treated and released. Constable Nelson Das Neves was transported to a Windsor hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service is pleased to report that Constable Das Neves has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home with his family.
